You can choose the templates and section groups where an app block is available.

# App block availability

* Use `enabled_on` or `disabled_on` in an app block schema to choose where the block can be used. See [Choose where a block is available](/apps/theme_extension/getstarted#choose-where-a-block-is-available).
* A `section` block is offered in the theme editor only on the templates and section groups where it is enabled.
* A `body` or `head` block is rendered only on the templates where it is enabled.
