# customer-register

The `customer-register` template renders the page that creates a customer account.

## Location

The `customer-register` template is located in the `templates` directory of the theme.

```

## Usage

It renders at `/account/register`. Without this template the store shows its built-in page. When the store disables customer accounts, the page redirects to the home page. Logged in customers go to the home page.

Use the [`create_customer`](/themes/tags/form#create-customer) form.
