# customer-reset-password

The `customer-reset-password` template renders the page that sets a new password.

## Location

The `customer-reset-password` template is located in the `templates` directory of the theme.

## Usage

It renders at the link in the password reset email. Without this template the store shows its built-in page. An invalid or expired link redirects to `/account/recover` with an error.

Use the [`reset_customer_password`](/themes/tags/form#reset-customer-password) form. The form takes the reset link from the page URL.
